Islam : an Inclusive Religion?

Islam is inclusive religion, but inclusive here not inclusive what believe that the other religions are truth, because it’s principle is the first stage to go to the heretical pluralism in Islam. inclusive is be open for all of created including mankind and jinns.

The arguments of this thesis are the first, what Allah say in Q.s al-Anbiya 107 :

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ

“and we have sent You (O Muhammad ) not but as a Mercy for the 'Alamîn.”

In this verse explained that Muhammad was delegated as a mercy for ‘aalamiin, Muhsin Khan said that alamiin is including mankind, jinns, and all that exists. but 'Alamîn according to translation Quran by Yusuf Ali including jinns and mankind, in the other verse stated : 

تبَارَكَ الَّذِي نزلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَالَمِينَ نَذِيرًا [الفرقان: 1

blessed be He who sent down the criterion (of Right and wrong, i.e. This Qur'ân) to his slave (Muhammad) that He may be a warner to the 'Alamîn (mankind and jinns).(al-Furqan : 1)

About that, Ibnu Kathir in his Tafsir said :

“ …Allah was delegated Muhammad for mercy for them all, so whomsoever accepted its mercy be grateful to about its grace will happy in the world and in hereafter, but whomsoever and kufur to it will regret in the world and in hereafter, Allah said : “have You not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allâh into disbelief (by denying Prophet Muhammad and his message of Islâm), and caused their people to Dwell In the House of destruction? Hell, In which they will burn, - and what an evil place to settle in!”(Q.s Abraham : 28-29), and Allah said in explaining quran characteristic :44. and if we had sent This as a Qur'ân In a foreign language other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its Verses explained In detail (in Our language)? What! (a Book) not In Arabic and (the Messenger) an Arab?" say: "It is for those who believe, a Guide and a healing. and as for those who disbelieve, there is heaviness (deafness) In their ears, and it (the Qur'ân) is blindness for them. they are those who are called from a place far away (so they neither listen nor understand)… (Q.s Fushilat : 44)”. (Ibn Kathir, 2 : 385)

From this explaining we believe that Islam not only for Arabian but also from all of mankind, and Jinns, so all mankind and jinns should to accept and do Islam (be the muslim) with doing its principles.

 

And the second argument, decreeing Allah in Q.s al-An’am 92 :

وَهَذَا كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُصَدِّقُ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنْذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَهُمْ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ

“and This (the Qur'ân) is a blessed Book which we have sent down, confirming (the revelations) which came before it, so that You may warn the mother of Towns (i.e. Makkah) and All those around it…”(al-An’am : 92)

This ayah said that Quran was turned for all mankind Arabian and who around the world.

And the third argument, Rasulullah saw said :

أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "أعْطِيتُ خمسًا لم يُعْطَهُنّ أحد من الأنبياء قبلي" وذكر منهن: "وكان النبي يبعث إلى قومه، وبعثت إلى الناس عامة" - صحيح البخاري  وصحيح مسلم  

Rasulullah saw said : “i have given by god five what not given to the other prophets before me” He have mentions one of them” he was delegated for his tribe, and delegated for all mankind” (Bukhari and Muslim).

In the other hand, there are having a hunch that Islam is an Arabian religion, because the First, at praying (shalat) Every Moslem should to use Arabic language, the second, Moslems should to face to Arabs when they are praying, the third, al-Qur’an Arabic language. From all of that counter arguments, they believe that Islam is the Arabian religion which proceed all of mankind to be Arabian people.

The counter arguments was bottomless, because they say building on their prejudice, they saw only from possibility of existence of political interest, so they concluding hypotheses only and believe with it. That’s very weak arguments.

So, Islam is the the inclusive religion or universal religion what can attentive by all of mankind and Jinns.
